Born in 1952 - in the Gilat settlement in the Negev
Married to Yona and father of Noa, Yotam and Omri.
1970 - Completed 12 years of studies in the high school science department.
1974 - Completed 4.5 years of service in the army with the rank of major, as an infantry divisional commander and patrol officer.
1980 - B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering at Ben Gurion University.
1990 - Begins his appointment as head of Omer's local council.
1992 - Congress member by Zomet and head of Omer's local council.
13th Congress - member of the funds committee and internal affairs committee.
14th Congress - member of the founds committee and foreign affairs committee.
1999 - Retired from the -Congress following passage of the law forbidding duplicity of roles- and continuing to function as head of Omer's local council.
2001 - M.Sc degree in politics and public administration - Ben Gurion University.
Present-day public activities:
Vice chairman of the local government.
Chairmain of the Small Authorities Forum.
Substitute Chairman of the Firefighting South Cities Union.
Member of the South District Committee.
Member of Negev Development management authority.
Member of the Beer Sheva Theater management.
Member of the Soroka Hospital fellowship.
